If you’re clearly a prominent member of the certain religious order, get a cane, a false beard, and take off any large rings (or lose the cane and the beard but still ditch the large rings) – and head for the liquor store.

Because Pernod is an anise- (or licorice-) flavored spirit, that is called for in more than a few recipes these days. It is a rare supermarket that carries it, though.
