HELP! What is apricot nectar? Is it the same thing as apricot preserves? I have a sweet potato and apple recipe that calls for apricot nectar, but I have no idea what it is.

 Apricot nectar is apricot juice, just as pear nectar is pear juice. It’s is available in many grocery stores and gourmet shops as well as here and there online.

Calling it nectar instead of juice allows the producers to charge more, we suppose.
