Comments: The set consists of a high-quality basting brush, a sturdy fork, a pair of tongs that the daintiest griller might find a bit challenging to operate, a sharp knife that is not a chef's knife or a boning knife or really any knife we know (perhaps it is meant for cutting into a chicken thigh or steak to see if it is done (but anyone possessing a set like this is likely to be too accomplished or too confident to hack into a piece of meat to see if it is done….)).
There is a spatula with a bottle opener, and a cutting edge on one side and a stabbing face on the other, but you certainly would not want to put that many holes in a piece of meat. Perhaps it is for turning reluctant vegetables (ears of corn, perhaps) without resorting to the tongs. Finally, there is a grill brush and scraper that you are not going to want to put back in the lined aluminum attaché case after the first time you use it.
A grill tool set in an aluminum carrying case is obviously a generous gift for anyone. The one problem we see is that some people may find it too nice to use.
