Comments: Why would you not put measuring lines on a colander? Rocket science, right? In this case, the draining holes double as the measuring lines. The colander measures from a quarter pint to 1-1/2 pints (1/2 cup to 3 cups), which is to say it's fairly small as colanders go, but ideal for berries, fruits, beans, legumes, mushrooms, etc.
In one more bow to rocket science, the colander can be inverted and the bottom used to squeeze out and drain cans of tuna fish.
