Polynesian Florida Yellowfin Tuna Steaks

Ingredients:
2 pounds Florida yellowfin tuna steaks, fresh or frozen
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened, crushed pineapple
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 Tbsp finely chopped parsley
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions:
Thaw steaks, if frozen. Cut steaks into serving size
portions. Place fish in single layer in a shallow dish.
Combine all remaining ingredients. Pour sauce over
fish and marinate in refrigerator for one hour turning
once. Remove fish, reserving marinade for basting;
place fish on a well-greased broiler pan. Broil about
4 inches from source of heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn
carefully and baste with remaining marinade. Broil
an additional 3 minutes longer, or until tuna has a
slightly pink center.
Yield: 6 servings
