Ingredients:
2 cups corn meal
1 tsp salt
3 Tbsp butter
1-1/2 cups boiling water
Cooking oil
Instructions:
Mix corn meal, salt, and butter. Add the boiling water
(water must be boiling). Stir the ingredients; wet your
hands and shape mixture into pones or patties about
biscuit size and 1/2-inch thick.
Fry in cooking oil until golden, turning once; remove
and drain. Serve hot.
Yield: Serves 8
