3/4 pound sesame seeds
2 tsp plus 3 Tbsp peanut oil
salt (optional)

Place seeds on baking sheet and toast in the oven at 350F (175C) for 20 mintues, or until the seeds are lightly roasted.

Process in a food processor for 3 minutes. Add 2 teaspoons peanut oil and process on high for 30 seconds. Add 3 tablespoons peanut oil and process until very smooth, about 2 minutes.

Taste and add salt, if desired.

Yield: 1-1/2 cups
